In September 2018 WFU arranged a Meerath (inheritance) seminar at Masjid E Umer, Walthamstow. The event was organised due to the pressing need of educating the Muslim community on the importance of having a will and how to have one made taking into consideration Islamic rulings as well as British Laws of inheritance. A presentation was delivered by iWills, an organisation specialising in this field. The event was very educational and well attended by both brothers and sisters.
In October 2019 a dedicated training session was organised for local scholars at Leytonstone Masjid.
WFU hopes to follow these events up with small surgeries in different Masajid across the borough.
